Periods and Women

You know what’s annoying? The fact that women bleed.

You know what’s annoying? That people think women are dirty when they’re bleeding.

No, I’m not talking about those old days where women had to sit outside their house. I’m talking about the fact that when a guy finds out that a girl is on her periods, he just sits a bit farther away.

Like honestly, it’s not that big of a deal. Half the times, you guys don’t even know when a girl is bleeding.

Gone are the days when a girl used to hide her period dates. Gone are the days when girls were called ‘impure’ when they were bleeding.

Honestly, if a girl finds out that another girl is bleeding and she moves away from the girl, then it’s understandable. Why? Because periods are contagious and if a girl spends a lot of time with another girl, then her periods come around early.

No matter what gynaecologists say, this is the real truth.

But what I don’t understand is why the fuck do guys run away? Yes, periods are contagious, but guys are not going to catch them. It’s not a cold! Also, standing next to a girl whose bleeding will not give you STD’s.

Just saying.

Let’s talk about mood swings. Yes, we do have a lot of hormonal imbalance during our periods which cause mood swings. We need a lot of love and affection and at the same time, we don’t want to be touchy. So now what?

So now, nothing.

Stop fucking mentioning that she is PMS-ing. You know it, she knows it, you don’t have to repeat it again and again. You repeating that one line over and over again will only worsen her mood and she’ll fuck you up.

You have to get over the fact that women get mood swings because they’re on their periods. That’s old news honey, move on.

Exhaustion.

When a girl is on her periods, she’ll definitely be very, very exhausted. Maybe she’s been lying in bed all day, but when she says she’s exhausted, she is. Don’t question her and don’t argue with her. You saying she hasn’t done a single thing since the morning is not going to make her any less exhausted.

One of the reasons why women are mostly pissed during their menstrual cycle is that they’re constantly hungry. The thing with women getting periods is that women are used to it now and they mostly, ignore their hunger pangs. They don’t even realise they’re hungry.

Now, hunger is one of the many reasons why we’re angry. I know it’s hard to deal with us sometimes, but you have to understand that it’s very natural.

I mean, I would apologise for being an asshole during my periods, but I won’t because this is one of the only times we can get away with being assholes. So, when I see an opportunity, I’m going to seize it.

PS: I’m not even going to talk about cramps because they are the worst and can’t even be explained.
